Music Artist Jo Scaife creates a Urban world-wide singles conference based on reaches singles of all cultures across the world, titled, "Living Single in Faith".
Challenging them in their faith, purpose, and impact on the world. With the co-sponsorship of Lifeway Ridgecrest Conference center the event is held annually.

Singles across the world wil come together to seek for purpose in their lives in faith. Through professions, relationships, and in their God.
Living Single in Faith urban singles retreat is the first retreat in conjunction with Lifeway for today’s urban singles who are very serious about pursuing their purposes in God. Some of today’s most passionate, intelligent, strong , and driven singles will be attending.

Commitment to Purity
Singles come forward during a time of commitment and prayer during the "Purity Service" held on Saturday evening. Each signed a commitment card that they would remain pure until marriage, and received a ring to remind them of that commitment made before God and this group.
Prayer for Future Marriage
Conference leaders and participants pray for Jeremy and Michelle who have pledged their lives to each other, planning to one day marry and to remain sexually pure until they do.
Abstinence and Purity
Angela Scruggs leads a breakout session on "Abstinence and Purity" during the Urban Singles Weekend 2011, held at LifeWay Ridgecrest Conference Center. Scruggs, a native of Nashville, Tenn., currently attends New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary where she is pursuing her Ph.D.
